The anole was so still, one might've actually believed it was already dead. But, the period movements of its eyes and head, checking its surroundings in the fading sunlight would give it away. Its tail twitched rapidly, raising one foot to begin a descent down the other side of the rock. He barely got more than a centimeter down before a blur of dark fur flew from the surrounding grass. Her paws scraped against the stone, fangs gnashing and spittle flying wildly as she snapped at the reptile. Unfortunately, her frenzy only resulted in her catching the lizard's tail in her fangs and with a quick movement of its body, the tail snapped free and it was escaping into the grass.
Olivia held the still twitching appendage in her muzzle, shaking her head as if trying to break her prey's neck. When she settled, her fur still bristled and subtle snarls still pulling from her chest, she released her catch. Green and blue eyes stared at the tail laying inbetween her paws, brow furrowing with disgust. "You little--" she snarled, spinning atop the rock as if she could spot the anole that was likely already long gone. A disgusted huff left her, lashing tail expressing her displeasure with every movement.
